Neuropsychological & Comprehensive Evaluations
Weden, Weintraub & Associates specializes in the neuropsychological assessment of children, adolescents and adults. Our clinicians have expertise in a wide range of difficulties, including AD/HD, learning differences, neurodevelopmental disorders including autism spectrum disorders, and psychiatric, emotional and behavioral disorders. Through neuropsychological assessment, we will provide a comprehensive and accurate picture of your strengths and weaknesses and how theses abilities relate to your everyday life. Based on this information, we will then provide you with specific recommendations regarding treatment and/or academic interventions, optimizing the potential for positive change.
Autism Spectrum Evaluations
A component we use in our evaluation for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is the ADOS-2, considered the gold standard for autism evaluation, as it pulls for strengths and challenges in the primary categories needed to make a diagnosis of ASD. This evaluation includes the assessment for social/communication and interaction deficits, as well as the presence of rigidity, restricted interested, and repetitive/sensory related behaviors.
