Dr. Caitlin Condit

Dr. Condit received a masters in Psychology from The American University in Washington, D.C. and obtained her doctorate in clinical psychology from The American University. She completed her predoctoral internship at Mount Washington Pediatric Hospital (MWPH) in Baltimore, Maryland and completed her postdoctoral fellowship at MWPH, specializing in the assessment and treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Dr. Condit is trained to administer the ADOS-2, the gold standard assessment tool for diagnosing autism in children, adolescents and adults. In addition to ASD assessment and treatment, Dr. Condit has considerable experience providing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to pediatric populations diagnosed with a variety of medical conditions including cancer, cystic fibrosis, chronic pain, diabetes, and sickle cell disease in order to address coping/adjustment, treatment adherence, and death/dying. Specifically, she spent the larger part of her clinical training in the hematology, oncology, and bone marrow transplant unit at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C., as well as the pulmonary department, providing CBT to child and adolescent populations in need. Additionally, Dr. Condit was trained to treat children, adolescents and young adults with anxiety, OCD and body-focused repetitive behaviors by Dr. Charles Mansueto and his associates at Behavior Therapy Center of Greater Washington.
